About this policy

PokeInvest (the "Service") is a subscription tool that surfaces supply-and-demand signals for sealed Pokémon TCG products. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Service, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run the Service:

• Account information — your name and email, handled by our auth provider (Clerk).
• Billing information — payment is handled by Whop. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage data — which products you watch, your watchlist, calculator inputs, and the IP address of your sign-in for security.

Why we collect it

We use the data above to: (1) provide the Service you signed up for; (2) prevent abuse and secure your account; (3) send you transactional emails (sign-up confirmations, billing receipts, critical service notices); and (4) comply with tax and billing obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate PokeInvest:

• Clerk — authentication (handles your sign-in and account).
• Whop — billing and subscription management.
• Anthropic — AI-generated investment-thesis text. Prompts contain product metadata only; no personal user data.
• Timescale Cloud — managed Postgres database that stores product and watchlist data.
• Vercel — web hosting.
• Inngest — background-job runner for scheduled scrapes and AI generation.

We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for the Service to function:

• A Clerk session cookie to keep you signed in.
• A currency-preference cookie that remembers your display currency (USD / AUD / GBP / CAD / CNY).

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this section will be updated and we will notify signed-in users by email.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and the data associated with it.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation, in case you change your mind. After that, your account and watchlist are deleted. Backups are purged within 90 days. Billing records are held for the minimum period required by tax law in our jurisdiction.

Children

PokeInvest is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to signed-in users at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor changes (typos, clarifications) are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
